Start a grade-level support group at your school.

School's starting soon! Ask your principal if you can set up grade-level meetings several times during the school year to meet and exchange ideas with parents of kids the same age as yours. You're all dealing with the same age group and will be able to share techniques and support one another. You might make some new friends as a bonus!
