Start a family book club.

Look for ways to enjoy staying inside during cold or inclement weather. Try starting a family book club with your school-age youngsters. Take turns choosing the book, then each member of the family reads it. Set aside a special time to discuss the book - characters you liked, writing style, the ending…You'll find out what your children like to read and help teach them critical-thinking skills.
